Frequently Asked Questions
How do I register my child for a class?
Click on the PORTAL tab on the main menu above, or click to be redirected to our page where you may set up a parent portal and setup an account. Once your account is setup, register for a class by emailing the gym at fliptasticgym1@gmail.com, or stopping by the gym during our office hours, Monday thru Thursday evenings, 430p till 800p. We do not offer online registration.
Can I register my child after the start of the current session?
Yes. If you start after the first week of the session, we will prorate the session fee.
Do you allow makeups for a missed class?
Yes, if there is another class for the same age and level with openings. Makeups must be done during the same session and availability is not guaranteed. Your gymnast may also attend our monthly open gyms and use a “makeup token”. Open gym is only eligible to students ages 6+.
Do you give credits or refunds for missed classes?
No, unless a gymnast is going to miss more than 4 consecutive classes due to an illness or injury. A doctor's note is required and we need to be notified immediately.
Are parents allowed to watch classes?
Yes, we have open viewing for all classes. In addition, we have cameras in the gym areas so you or other family members can watch your gymnast remotely using the app SpotTV. Details are at the gym.
Do you offer "Boys Only" or "Girls Only" classes?
Currently, we are piloting our MightyCats class for boys age 4.5-5 years old. All of our other classes are coed.
What do the gymnasts wear?
A one piece leotard (no skirts or ruffles) or gym shorts and a tee shirt (tucked in) and barefoot. We also sell gymnastics apparel at the gym.
Do you offer a family discount?
Yes, if a family has 2 children enrolled in the same session, we give a 5% discount off the session fees. If a family has 3 or more enrolled in the same session, we give a 10% discount of the session fees.
What is the student-to-instructor ratio?
Preschool & beginner (6 to 1). Advanced beginner (7 to 1). Intermediate, advanced & tumbling (8 to 1).
If the weather is bad, will the gym be open?
We only close the gym if weather conditions are severe. If we close the gym, we will send out and email blast and leave a message on our voicemail. A makeup date will be scheduled for later in the session. Note: school closings do not necessarily mean the gym will be closed.
